Samara Rivers, CEO/Founder

Samara is a seasoned event planner and experiential marketing producer. She has a flair for all things fabulous and is meticulous with details and event execution.

As an influencer within the African American Community, Samara consults and advocates for diversity and inclusion in direct consumer marketing standards and the importance of having ‘a seat at the table’ within the spirits industry.  She is an Executive Bourbon Steward, co-hosts of Bonded In Bourbon Podcast, and writes a monthly column for The Bourbon Zeppelin. Samara also speaks and moderates panel discussions at festivals across the country and hosts private educational whiskey tasting seminars and events upon request.

Armond Davis, COO

Armond is a serial entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in construction, and real estate, and investments. He is a Scotch guy that fell in love with a Bourbon Woman.

Armond runs the internal operations for Black Bourbon Society. He is a master negotiator and finance guru that prefers to be behind the scenes working on the bigger picture. He is also an Executive Bourbon Steward, a monthly contributor for Bourbon Zeppelin Newsletter, and co-host of the Bonded in Bourbon Podcast. Armond’s latest project is launching Monarch Global Exchange - a boutique branding firm and import/export business for startup spirits companies.
